AIDS Walk Detroit 2018 – Construction Update & Virtual Walk Option

Due to construction in downtown Royal Oak, the 2018 AIDS Walk Detroit event, which was scheduled for September 16th at the Royal Oak Farmers Market has been canceled.

Partner organizations are still able to raise funds through the AIDS Walk Detroit website in support of their programs. If you would like to participate as a virtual walker and make a donation to a partner organization, you are welcome to register, donate and fundraise through October 31, 2018 at

AIDS Walk Detroit is focused on planning an exciting, updated event for 2019 that will include new features and a move into the City of Detroit. Please watch this site for updates and information.

This program offers an opportunity for local HIV service organizations to not only bring in additional funds, but receive additional exposure to the community for the work they do and strengthen their ability to continue the fight against HIV!

AIDS Walk Detroit is truly a community event where entities with different missions or programs unite for a common fight. This year’s Walk is an opportunity for Detroit to present a united front in the fight against the HIV epidemic in our city.
